How the Day Trips Work
        Day Trip Pricing

After successful booking and payment delivery you receive a confirmation and receipt. On the day of your trip your guide will meet you at your hotel and the journey starts.  Each day trip lasts approximately 10 hours door-to-door; whereby you will have 5-1/2 to 6 hours for golf, including time in the pro shop,  warm up and a beverage after the round. We have budgeted 1-1/2 to 2 hours for the cultural activity, and the rest is driving time.  We take care of all the details; all you have to do is golf!

What’s Included … and What’s Not

All day trips include door-to-door transportation, green fees and entrance fees to any attractions. They also include a friendly and knowledgeable driver-guide, who will give you historical and background information on your destination as well as on Munich and Bavaria in general. You also get his attention for the duration of the trip and help procuring supplies such as balls and gloves. Not included are riding cart and club rental fees, golf balls or other equipment, food, beverages and souvenirs.

How to Book a Day Trip

There are four easy ways to book a day trip: use the online booking request form, send us an email, give Kevin a call, or contact Kevin via Skype (complete info here). The first step is to have a look at the availability calendar to see if your desired dates are free. Please understand that some time frames fill up very quickly.  When requesting a booking, please make sure to include how many players and whether you will need golf clubs and if you wish to use a riding cart. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Please Note: Day Trips
The cultural activity and round of golf are planned according to opening times and event schedules.
Because of tournament schedules etc not every course is guaranteed to be available for play on the day you request. We normally have other good options to choose from..
We will contact you immediately if forces of nature or sudden event scheduling interferes with a confirmed day trip. If no suitable alternative can be found then you will receive a full refund. Please see our Terms & Conditions.

Equipment

How much equipment you will need to procure in Munich likely depends upon how much in advance you book, but here we cover the availability of basic equipment and supplies.

Club Rental
Both standard and premium clubs are available for hire.  Premium rentals may not always be available for short notice bookings.  Standard rentals may be premium clubs from past model years. Premium rentals are generally late model clubs from manufacturers such as Callaway, Cobra, Mizuno, Nike, Ping, Taylor Made, Titelist, and Wilson.  We will try our best to accommodate special requests. Women’s and left-handed rentals are also readily available.

Riding Carts
Most courses have riding carts readily available, but please be aware that, as a rule, players walk the course in Germany.  In fact, one needs a note from a doctor to use a cart in tournament play!  But we understand that mobility can sometimes be an issue and are able to organize riding carts. There are often interesting alternatives, such as electric trolleys, which are far more plentiful.  Please see below.

Electric Trolleys
Electric trolleys are pretty much standard equipment for club golfers in Germany, who primarily walk instead of ride.  These trolleys are a big business here, and there are even sleek titanium models that retail for upwards of €4.000,- !!  Various models are available for rent; even premium trolleys can be organized with enough advance notice.

Balls & Gear
We can organize balls and gloves in advance, and of course there is always the pro shop for supplies and souvenir gear before and after the round.  Bringing your own glove and  balls is, however, the recommended option, if you are particular about brand and/or price. Tees and ball markers are complimentary.

Golf Shoes
The one standard item not easily organized.  Bring them if you can, otherwise please bring suitable multipurpose shoes, such as appropriate athletic or trekking shoes. If you need to purchase shoes here, we can certainly recommend shops for good selection and price. Soft spikes are required on all courses in Germany.
