Itinerary
Day One is arrival day and get-used-to-Central-European-Time-Zone day if you are coming from overseas. We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to the hotel, your home for the next seven days. If the entire group arrives early and wants to hit the ground running we can certainly organize an activity such as a special tour or an extra round of golf. The day will be crowned by the special Welcome Dinner at the world-famous Hofbräuhaus in the evening.
Included: Airport Transfer, Lodging, Welcome Dinner
We start the cultural week with a tour of your host city, Munich. We’ll go by car and by foot to see the important historical and interesting places, including the BMW World, the Residence and Marienplatz with the Glockenspiel. At noon we head out for the first round of golf at Schloss Egmating, a fun and extremely pretty course east of the city. Dinner tonight at a fantastic country inn close to the course.

Today we visit the sumptuous palaces in the Munich area before heading to one of the best courses in Germany. We’ll first visit the Nymphenburg Palace, which was the summer residence of the ruling family of Bavaria. Afterwards we will swing my the amazing palaces in Schleißheim. Around noon we will be at Gut Häusern, which hosts an event on the Ladies European Tour, is annually ranked in the top five in Germany and has one of the best golf course restaurants in Bavaria.

We take a break from Golf today to travel to the mountains and visit one of the most famous castles in the world, Neuschwanstein. King Ludwig II of Bavaria built this amazing tribute to the past in the second half of the 19th century. Walt Disney patterned his castle after Ludwig’s masterpiece. We will also tour the castle where Ludwig spent his childhood summers and visit an incredibly beautiful rococo church in the middle of a field – a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Included: Transportation, Entrance Fees & Lodging

Back out to the golf course today, but not before visiting another one of Ludwig II’s homes, the peaceful and serene Linderhof. It was here Ludwig spent most of his time later in his life. We’ll also have a short stop in Oberammergau, famous for its marvelous wood carvings and the once-every-decade passion play. Today you play St. Eurach, which has spectacular panoramas of the alps and is a former venue of the BMW Open. Dinner with a view tonight; we eat at the course.
Included: Transportation, Entrance Fees, Green Fees & Lodging
Today we head in the other direction, north to Ingolstadt, which still has much of its medieval character and is home to Audi. The famous Bavarian Beer Purity Law was decreed in Ingolstadt in 1517. Around noon we arrive at the Wittelsbacher Golf Club, which was Germany’s candidate to host the 2018 Ryder Cup. The course is one of the most exclusive in Germany – it is owned by a duke and the property used to be a stud farm for the royal family.

The last full day gives you time for discovering more of Munich, shopping or relaxing. Or how about a day trip to Salzburg, Berchtesgaden or Rothenberg? We can arrange the day to your liking – of course also another round of golf. Tonight we have the farewell dinner at a great local traditional restaurant.
Included: Lodging & Farewell Dinner
Today we sadly say “auf Wiedersehen” and bring your group to the airport for the trip back home (or to your chosen departure point).
