Our short tours are 2- or 3-day weekend getaways – and not just for the weekend!  These are great tours to combine sightseeing and golf in a compact trip.  As always with Bavarian Golf tours, the focus is to mix golf with history and culture, but we do offer a couple of short tours where you can simply indulge yourself!

Fairy Tale Castles and Golf: 3-Day Short Tour
This trip takes us to King Ludwig’s hard to get to castles in the Bavarian Alps. It is a relaxing trip with three fantastic castles and two excellent rounds of golf. In addition to the famous Neuschwanstein you will tour the castle Ludwig’s father built as well as the ‘cosy’ Linderhof with its beautiful gardens.  You’ll play two completely different but both tremendously scenic courses with alpine flair.

Day 1: Neuschwanstein and Wieskirche
With a comfortable late morning start we head down to Füssen to visit Neuschwanstein, the world famous fairy tale castle of King Ludwig II.  On the way we will stop by the beautiful baroque church of Wieskirche (Church in the Meadows), a UNESCO World Heritage site.  We’ll have lunch nearby, then head down to the mountains to tour the castle after most of the mass tourism busses are long gone.  Dinner tonight in the romantic town of Füssen.
